In the last week, the Ukraine war is all we can think about. It’s all we can talk about. It’s all we see when we scroll through our feeds. In the age of social media, when we are all bombarded by the information and images, it makes it even harder to digest. This drawing is dedicated to the Ukrainian who lost their home. It is to those people decided to stay and fight for their country.
It also serves as a reminder to us all to realise and appreciate what we have got and at the same time be kind and remember all those out there that have no house talk less of a home.
The background colour of this drawing is the same blue that used on Ukraine national flag. The yellow I used to draw the flowers is the same yellow as on their national flag. I hope this bird will bring peace and the little girl with the suitcase back to Ukraine.
All the proceeds from this drawing would be donated to UNHCR. It may seems a little but together we are stronger. Together we say no to war.
